Salon insurance guides
The questions that come before choosing a policy. What a salon needs and why, how renting chairs changes the answer, and what the licensing board actually asks for.

What insurance does a salon need?
The four coverages and the order you add them in: general liability at the door, professional liability at the first service, property once you own a build-out, workers compensation at the first hire.
In progress
Two more guides are being written. Booth renter versus salon owner takes the rented chair apart from both sides of it; until it publishes, the renter's half is covered on insurance for salon booth renters and the owner's half on salon business insurance. What salon insurance costs is waiting on a published source we are willing to stand behind. We would rather ship it late than ship a number we made up.
In the meantime, the type pages carry the coverage detail for each trade: hair salons, nail salons, barber shops, and the rest of them.
